Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026. This policy explains how Universa collects, uses, and protects information for developer accounts, sandbox access, hosted authentication, and regulated money movement workflows.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, Universa receives basic account information such as your name, email address, and profile identifier so we can create and secure your developer session. If you request API access, we may collect business contact details, company information, API usage metadata, IP address, device information, and support communications.
End-user KYC, virtual account, transfer, payout, and compliance data may be processed by regulated providers, institutional liquidity partners, partner banks, and compliance vendors when a developer uses Universa rails. Production access is reviewed before live money movement is enabled.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate developers, provision sandbox and production access, issue and manage API keys, prevent fraud, monitor compliance risk, calculate quotes and fees, provide support, improve the product, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Sharing
Universa shares information only as needed to operate the service: with infrastructure providers, authentication providers, compliance vendors, payment and banking partners, stablecoin and liquidity partners, professional advisors, or regulators and law enforcement when required by law.
Security and Retention
We use administrative, technical, and organizational controls designed to protect developer and compliance data. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy compliance obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain audit records.
Your Choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your developer account data where applicable. Some records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, compliance, accounting, audit, or legal reasons.
